Der Titelsong "Where You Lead" wurde von Carole King und Toni Stern geschrieben und kam erstmals auf Carole King's Album "Tapestry" (1971) heraus. Mit der Hilfe ihrer Tochter Louise Goffin hat sie den Song, mit ein paar Änderungen speziell für Gilmore Girls, neu aufgenommen. Zusammen brachten sie auch eine neue Version in ganzer Länge heraus, welche man auf dem Gilmore Girls Soundtrack "Our Little Corner Of The World" findet.
